How does Invisalign work?

We use advanced 3-D imaging equipment, and create custom made removable aligners to move your teeth. Invisalign patients will wear a series of aligners for approximately two weeks at a time, which exert mild pressure to manoeuvre teeth to their desired position. The Invisalign aligners will be custom-made to fit your teeth with 3-D imaging software in a way that will put gradual pressure on the parts of the teeth that need to be pressured into alignment. You will be required to wear your aligners day and night for the best results, as compliancy is what ensures this treatment is effective. You will also be required to visit Dr. Laura Fathi periodically in order to ensure that your treatment is progressing as intended.

Teeth whitening treatment can provide the final touch to your Invisalign treatment. Many people find that after their teeth have been straightened they have areas of the tooth that have been affected by discoloration due to plaque accumulation. Dr. Laura Fathi will first thoroughly clean your teeth and mouth and then perform her teeth whitening treatment (which takes less than an hour).
